Assisi – Brushed Rose Gold Concealed Shower System

On the beige limewashed plaster wall, leafy shadows filter the light from the nearby window. Amidst this play of transparencies, the rosy copper hue of the metal settles in silently. The rain shower head, a round perforated disc, descends from a short wall-mounted arm. Lower down, three circular plates distribute the controls: a short lever mixer to the left, a central diverter, and a hand shower holder to the right with its spiral hose. No element protrudes from the wall; everything is flush with the wall. The rest of the mechanism is encased within the wall's thickness.

Around it, the room is kept in the same tone. The towel rail on the left, the terracotta vase in the illuminated niche, the sand-colored towel, the olive tree shadows cast by the sun: no element screams, everything converges towards a single chromatic temperature. The rain shower comes in 20, 25, or 30 cm diameters. The 20 cm is suitable for cramped niches or small bathrooms, where the flow needs to remain concentrated without waste. The 25 cm remains the most versatile choice; it comfortably covers the torso without requiring an oversized shower ceiling. The 30 cm is aimed at generous showers, where one seeks a true sheet of water rather than a localized jet. The diameter is chosen primarily based on the available depth behind the wall arm.

The brushed finish avoids harsh glares and gently redistributes the rays. Instead of a bright spot, the wall becomes a continuous surface, without visual interruption.

Technically, the thermostatic mixer limits temperature variations when another water point is opened in the house. The diverter allows switching between the vertical rain shower and the handheld shower, two very different uses: the former for a full shower, the latter for rinsing an area, washing feet after the sea, or cleaning a stone bench. The dual control separates the two actions.

In use, this shower column fades into the background. It blends into the wall's color and is only recalled by the warmth of the water.
