Product description and features
The circular shower head dominates the composition. Large, flat, pierced with regular nozzles, it is mounted on an angled arm that comes directly out of the wall at ceiling height. The entire surface is covered with a brushed finish in a warm matte gold, without a bright yellow reflection. This brushed gold recessed shower column brings together three wall-mounted elements: the shower head on a wall arm, the control plate recessed into the partition, and the hand shower holder with its braided gold hose.
The recessed plate is round, compact, and flush with the wall. It has two cylindrical controls — a large flow knob, a smaller button for outlet selection. Both are in the same brushed gold finish as the rest of the set. The hand shower hose has exactly the same shade. The hand shower has a thin, cylindrical body, with a gray textured area in its center for grip. This is the only element that slightly deviates from the golden visual coherence, due to this material contrast.
On a bare wall, the set gives the impression that the faucet grows out of the tiles. There is no column, no bar, no visible pipe. The wall remains clear. Only the shower head arm, the plate, and the hand shower holder create visual focal points. The brushed gold, in this recessed configuration, takes up less visual space than an exposed column, while remaining clearly perceptible as a structural element of the shower.
Brushed gold recessed shower set with wall-mounted rain shower head, control plate, and brushed brass hand shower
The shower head is available in three diameters: 20, 30, or 40 cm. The 20 cm model is suitable for small shower niches or configurations where the wall arm is short and the floor space is limited. It is also suitable for corner installations, where a wider shower head would extend beyond the shower area. The 30 cm is the central format, compatible with most standard showers from 80 to 90 cm.
The 40 cm is the diameter to consider for large walk-in showers, over 100 cm, or high-volume bathrooms where a wider rain shower is desired. This format requires sufficient water pressure to maintain a consistent flow across all nozzles. This is a point to check beforehand with a plumber before choosing this diameter for an old installation.
To create a cohesive bathroom space around this finish, the recessed shower column collections and bathroom faucets & mixers offer matching pieces in terms of surface finish and installation style.
Brushed brass recessed shower: wall installation without visible pipes and maintenance of golden surfaces
The brushed brass finish presents a satin surface that shows fewer fingerprints and limescale deposits than a polished mirror finish. Wiping with clear water after each use is sufficient to maintain the surface appearance. Abrasive products and acidic descalers should be avoided, as they attack the treatment layer and irreversibly alter the golden hue.
This type of installation is suitable for renovations with a chase in the partition to house the mixer body, and for new constructions with a technical duct provided for this purpose. The brushed gold recessed shower column works in contemporary interiors with a mineral dominance — white marble, large format tiles, polished concrete — where the golden hue creates a warm accent without weighing down the space. It also integrates into more classic bathrooms with old earthenware or zellige, provided that the other metal elements share the same finish.
The brushed gold recessed shower is a brass set with a ceramic valve, whose faucet body disappears into the wall, leaving visible only what is strictly necessary for operation.

FAQ: Your Frequently Asked Questions about Our Products
How to choose a shower column that's right for your bathroom?
To choose a suitable shower column, consider three essential criteria: the size of your space, the type of mixer (thermostatic or mechanical), and your available water pressure.
Check the height (generally between 110 and 150 cm) and its compatibility with your water supply.
Finally, match the finish (chrome, matte black, brushed gold) with your bathroom's style.
Which materials should be prioritized for a durable shower column?
Solid brass is the most durable material for a shower column: it resists corrosion and limescale. It is designed to offer excellent daily durability.
Stainless steel (304 stainless steel) is an excellent alternative for its modern appearance and resistance to humidity.
Conversely, avoid shower columns made of zamac or chrome-plated plastic: they are inexpensive but deteriorate quickly (2 to 5 years).
How do I clean and maintain my rocking chair?
Maintenance depends on the chosen model.
Fabric versions, depending on the reference, have removable covers that can be machine washed at low temperatures. Outdoor models can be cleaned with a soft cloth, lukewarm water, and non-abrasive soap.
Always refer to the care instructions on the product page.
Why choose a thermostatic mixer for your shower column?
The thermostatic mixer offers three major advantages compared to a classic mechanical mixer.
First, safety: it maintains a constant water temperature and automatically locks at 38°C, limiting sudden temperature variations for greater user comfort.
Next, comfort: no need to adjust the temperature for each shower; it is memorized and instantaneous.
Finally, water and energy savings: by avoiding repeated adjustments, a thermostatic mixer contributes to more economical water usage.
Ideal for families with children, the elderly, and anyone looking for premium daily comfort.
What width of rain shower head should you choose based on the size of your shower?
The width of the rain shower head should be proportionate to your shower space. For a standard shower (80x80 cm), a shower head of 20 to 25 cm is ideal.
For a walk-in shower or a 90x120 cm space, opt for a 30 cm minimum to fully enjoy the rain effect.
The 40 cm, on the other hand, transforms your shower into a true spa experience: enveloping sensation, generous flow, and total immersion, ideal for large showers and home wellness enthusiasts. For this size, ensure a water pressure of at least 2 bar to fully exploit its potential.
How to install a shower column without calling a plumber?
Installing a shower column yourself is entirely possible with a few basic tools: an adjustable wrench, a spirit level, a tape measure, a drill, and PTFE tape.
Start by turning off the water supply, removing the old equipment, then fixing the wall fittings at the correct height (110 cm for the mixer, 200-210 cm for the shower head). Screw on the column, check the level, tighten the fittings with PTFE tape to prevent leaks, then test the water supply.
The operation takes on average 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. All columns come with detailed instructions and the necessary fixings for installation without a plumber.
